Registration for the Spring 2025 program will open on Monday December 16, 2024 at 8:00 am.
Payment Options
Registration is only $40.00, with no GST. Note: Free courses will show $0.00 but you will still need to complete registration.
We have moved away from PayPal, towards a new, more straightforward payment processor provided by Stripe. Now, you will just need to type your credit card number, expiry date and CVV code into a box on our secure ElderCollege web page, and click a button to complete payment. Your credit card payment will be handled by Stripe, a well-known payment processor.
With this move to simpler online payment, we will no longer accept payment by cheques. As before, we cannot accept e-transfers.

Several years ago, we prepared a video that shows you how to register and pay online for ElderCollege courses, step by step. You can view it below.
The information in that video up to timestamp 7:24 is still accurate. Please ignore the rest of the video, which is no longer relevant as we have just changed from taking payment with PayPal (which was complex and required detailed instructions) to using a simple form on our web page where you type in your credit card number, expiry date and CVV code and then click a button.
Steps to Register
If you have previously created an account on our website, log into it before you start registering. (Creating an account is not necessary; it just saves you from having to re-enter your contact information each semester.)
Visit the Spring 2025 page on our website. Decide on the first course you want to take and click the Register button below it. The course will be added to a shopping cart.
If you wish to take additional courses, click the Continue Shopping button and click Register for the next course.
Note: Because our website automatically creates class lists for us, we need to ask you to register for one person at a time. For example, if you are registering for John and Jane Doe, please register for John's courses separately from Jane's.
After you have selected all the desired courses, click the Proceed to Checkout button on the "shopping cart" page. (If you are not on the shopping cart page, choose Registration then Registration Cart in the menu at the top of the website to get there.)
If you are not logged in, the website will then ask you for your contact information. Fill that in.
Then click Proceed to Payment. This will allow you to make payment with a credit card. VISA, MasterCard and AMEX are all accepted.
If you don't receive an email, check your spam folder. If there's nothing there, you can contact our registrar for support.
