Important Dates

As usual, registrations for Spring 2023 ElderCollege courses are made here on our website.

  • Friday December 2nd: Course descriptions will be posted below on this page.
  • Monday December 12th: Registrations will open at 8am.

Payment Options

Registration is still only $35.00, with no GST. Note: Free courses will show $0.00 but you will still need to complete registration.

Payment for registration can be made online via PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account. You can use money in a PayPal account or use your credit card. (VISA, MasterCard and AMEX are accepted.)

A note to all: ElderCollege prefers payment through PayPal as this makes it simple and less work for our volunteer bookkeeper. However if  you do not have a credit card you may choose to pay by cheque. Cheques must be made payable to "Sunshine Coast ElderCollege" and mailed to:

Steps to Register

If you have previously created an account on our website, log into it before you start registering. (Creating an account is not necessary; it just saves you from having to re-enter your contact information each semester.)

Visit the Spring 2023 page of our website. Decide on the first course you want to take and click the Register button below it. The course will be added to a shopping cart.

If you wish to take additional courses, click the Continue Shopping button and click Register for the next course.

Note: Because our website automatically creates class lists for us, we need to ask you to register for one person at a time. For example, if you are registering for John and Jane Doe, please register for John's courses separately from Jane's.

After you have selected all the desired courses, click the Proceed to Checkout button on the "shopping cart" page. (If you are not on the shopping cart page, choose Registration then Registration Cart in the menu at the top of the website to get there.)

If you are not logged in, the website will then ask you for your contact information.  Fill that in.

Then click Proceed to PayPal. This will allow you to make payment with a PayPal account (if you have one) or by credit card. VISA, MasterCard and AMEX are all accepted.  If PayPal complains that your postal code is invalid, scroll to the top of the page and make sure that the right country has been selected. (PayPal auto-selects the country for you and sometimes it doesn't get it right.)

Please NOTE, Registration is not complete until you receive a confirmation email!

If you don't receive an email, check your spam folder. If there's nothing there, you can contact us for support.
