Terms and Conditions

Availability of ElderCollege Courses

ElderCollege courses are available to residents of the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada, who are aged 55 and older.

Payments

Classes must be paid for using PayPal. We do not accept cheques, or credit card numbers over the phone.

You do not need a PayPal account. You can use your VISA, MasterCard or AMEX card through the PayPal payment system without having a PayPal account.

Refunds

If the event of a course being cancelled by ElderCollege, fees paid for that course will be refunded in full.

Participants who withdraw from a course prior to the course start date can apply in writing for a full refund by emailing to the Registrar of ElderCollege at registrar@sunshinecoasteldercollege.ca.

Refunds will only be processed via PayPal. Your refund will be credited back to either the balance of your PayPal account or to your credit card – whichever the payment came from at the time of course registration.

No refunds will be issued for ElderCollege courses once the course has started, except under exceptional circumstances approved by the Program Committee Chair.

Courses are non-transferable. Only the person who registered for the course is eligible to attend the course.
