The History of Food: Growing, Cooking, Eating
Survival, sustenance, growth, pleasure – food fuels our existence and makes it delicious. The course explores how food has been grown, prepared, preserved, traded, transported, and eaten through the ages. From hunting/gathering to industrialized food, from the fast food revolution to eco-aware eating and developed world food obsessions, we continue both to make and respond to changes in the state of our planet. What we eat is who we are.
